The technical revision was led by Herbert Bernstädt, one of Germany's most respected authors on entertainment technology. He was supported by Marcus Krömer and Professor Axel Barwich from the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. Together they ensure that this edition reflects the current state of modern lighting design.

The 2026 edition is presented as a large-format hardcover volume of 488 pages.
